Kaiden Currie is a New York–based tap dancer, performer, educator, and choreographer. An 11-time IDO World Tap Dance Champion from Massachusetts, he has established himself on the international stage from a young age, earning recognition for his precision, musicality, and dynamic performance quality. Raised at Nancy Chippendales Dance Studios, he continues to train across multiple dance styles, developing a versatile foundation that informs his work as both an athlete and artist.

He is a mentee of Chloe Arnold and Maud Arnold and has trained with and been influenced by artists including Aleksandar Ostanin, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Charles Renato, Bril Barrett, and Nancy Chippendale, among others. He is currently pursuing a BA at Columbia University in Film and Media Studies and Dance, exploring the intersection of movement, storytelling, and the performing arts.

As an educator, he teaches at studios across the United States and internationally, sharing his work through festivals and intensives including Hollywood Tap Fest, DC Tap Fest, Tap Dance Prague Festival (Czech Republic), SMASH Dance Convention (Mexico), The Penguin Tappers (Germany), PowerPak Dance Convention, WILD Dance Intensive, World Dance Pageant, GRAVIT8 Dance Convention, Sole Talk, and American Tap Company. His teaching emphasizes technical foundation, rhythmic clarity, and artistic exploration while prioritizing joy, connection, and presence in movement.

His classes are rooted in rediscovering the joy of dance. He aims to bring dancers back to the childlike excitement that first draws them to tap, creating an environment that balances discipline with play. His work reminds dancers that tap is not only about precision and achievement, but also about freedom, expression, and joy.
