MAGDA KACZMARSKA is a dancer, choreographer, teaching artist and creative aging advocate based in New York City. She brings over 15 years of dance and fitness experience to her teaching. At the core of all her work is inspiring her students in safely and joyfully experiencing new movement and strength in their bodies. She has a steadfast belief in safe and anatomically and kinesthetically sound movement.

Aside from receiving a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics and 8 years working in neuropharmacology research, Magda has a Master in Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Arizona (one of the top dance programs in the US). She has a successful performance and choreographic practice and has presented work in NYC (La Mama, Center for Performance Research, Jamaica Center for Creative Arts), Arizona, Oregon, Switzerland and Taiwan. Magda firmly believes that all bodies can and should have access to creative, fun and safe movement and has devoted her career to establishing and fostering new opportunities for dance and fitness for all. She designed successful adult ballet and ballet fitness programs in Tucson, Arizona and is committed to establishing access to ballet and dance fitness classes for communities in NYC and beyond. Magda also works with NYC based non-profit company Dances for a Variable Population, which brings creative fitness and movement to older adult populations across NYC and is working with the artistic director to expand the program nationally.
