Maria Edmond

Maria Edmond is an artist born and raised in the Bronx, NY. She grew up training to be a ballerina, which has fed into her technical approach to heels choreography. Maria teaches heels classes in NYC and wants dancers to feel comfortable to explore their sensuality, knowing that they don’t need to fit into a box. Heels has been something that helped Maria find herself and their voice.

They have presented work at Leg up on Life, Club NYC, sybarite, Crème de la femme, Summer Pulse, AAPI showcase and Folly’s Haven.
