Michael Jackson Jr.
Michael Jackson, Jr. (dancer, model, actor) originally born and raised in New Orleans, began his dance training at age 14 at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C., under the direction of Charles Augins. He became a member of Dance Theatre of Harlem Dancing through Barriers Ensemble in 2005 under the direction of the late Arthur Mitchell. In 2006, he joined Dallas Black Dance Theatre and in 2008 joined PHILADANCO!, where he also worked as Artistic Director of D3. He joined Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in 2011 and is going on his 11th season with company. Mr. Jackson has taught master classes all over the world including Toyko, London, and South Africa. His other credits include features in Vogue and Dance Magazine Publications. In 2021 he costarred in BET original film “BBOY BLUES” directed by Jussie Smollett based on famous book by acclaimed writer James Earl Hardy.
