Olivia Cece grew up in Cranston, RI where she danced competitively until she was 18, before finishing her senior year training in Miami. Olivia then saved up to move to NYC, where she attended the four year BFA program at Pace University Commercial Dance, and also auditioned for the hit tv show “So You Think You Can Dance” making the top 15 female contestants. Olivia has worked commercially as a dancer on a number of films two being Nickelodeon’s “ Blues Clues Big City Dreams” and Disney’s “ Better Nate Than Ever.” She has appeared on SNL in a skit alongside Miley Cyrus, Apple TV Series Lady in the Lake, Your friends and Neighbors, And Netflix’s “The last Mrs. Parrish.”

She has performed live on Good Morning America, The Today Show, and The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Live energy and excitement has always been her favorite, as she performed in events such as New York Fashion Week for Brietling, Longchamp, Hyundai Genesis, and Alo. She has worked as associate choreographer for Ru Paul’s Drag Race, and Frankie Grande. Olivia’s favorite credit includes performing in the first National tour of The Prom as “ Kaylee” and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as ensemble/ Cover Veruca Salt. Olivia most recently was cast in the original Broadway cast of Heart of Rock and Roll, and is currently performing in Moulin Rouge on Broadway where she started as a swing, and is now full time Heel 1 covering the principal role of Nini! Olivia has been mentored and inspired by so many great teachers her whole life that teaching has become one of her greatest passions. Putting her pedagogy courses and years of experience on convention to use, Olivia loves watching the next generation of dancers grow before her eyes at Steps. She is honored to teach in the very studios that she dreamt of being a professional in. 11:11. BAR.
