Xavier Rubiano

Xavier Rubiano (he/him) is a Partner and Co-Owner of The TRC Company. A proud New Yorker and first-generation Colombian American, he studied Dance and Musical Theater at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, founded by Tony Bennett, in Astoria, Queens, NY and earned a BFA in Musical Theater from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC and LA.
Xavier started his casting career in 2011 where he had his first internship at Clemmons/Dewing Casting. He continued to assist Joy Dewing when she started her new business, Joy Dewing Casting, as a monitor at her open calls and she brought him on as an apprentice in 2013. He became her Casting Assistant in 2014. Xavier has also interned at Stewart/Whitley and apprenticed at their office in May of 2016. He went from a Casting Assistant to Casting Director at Tara Rubin Casting from August 2016 through December 2024.
For The TRC Company, Xavier has cast the Broadway Productions of Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends, Buena Vista Social Club & The Outsiders. For Tara Rubin Casting,he has cast Here Lies Love, Bob Fosse’s Dancin’, The Phantom Of The Opera, & Dear Evan Hansen.
Xavier is a proud member of the Casting Society. He is the recipient of the 2022 Artios Associate Spotlight Award and has been nominated for five competitive Artios Awards.
