Charles Renato was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. After years of dedicated dance training, he began teaching tap dance at the age of 14, traveling extensively throughout the country. He earned multiple awards, including Best Dancer at the renowned Joinville Dance Festival and two wins on TV Globo’s national challenge competition show.

Charles was later invited to produce and choreograph for one of Brazil’s most iconic events—the world-famous Carnaval—where he collaborated with legendary Brazilian artists such as Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, and Rita Lee.

In 2014, Charles relocated to the United States and has since taught and performed across more than 15 countries worldwide. His performance credits include APT 33 (directed by Chloe Arnold), Dorrance Dance (directed by Michelle Dorrance), and Caleb Teicher & Company (directed by Caleb Teicher).
