Hugo Brument Scuderi
Hugo Brument Scuderi is a dancer, choreographer and director from Paris, France. He has trained in musical theatre at Jacobs Pillow, Broadway Dance Center and Rick Odums School. Recently, Hugo has had the pleasure to collaborate with many NYC based choreographers working on development for new creative projects such as Bodies of Work, Zoe Sarnack (dir.chor. by Jennifer Jancuska) or Three Summers of Lincoln (Chor. by Jon Rua & Daniel Watts) Favorite regional theater credits include : In the Heights, On Your Feet!, West Side Story. Commercial work : dancer for Disney, assistant-choreographer for Uniqlo. Associated with Misty Dance Theater (@misty_dance_theater), Hugo writes and directs films. Step into the world of Street Theatre with Hugo, where street jazz meets storytelling ! In this unique class, Hugo blends social jazz dance fundamentals with street dance styles, all while maintaining a touch of hip-hop flavor. You’ll explore a variety of expressive combos set to contemporary musical theatre or pop songs, adding layers of character and story through your movement. Hugo’s positive energy and thoughtful teaching create the perfect atmosphere for dancers to dive deep, connect with the music, and have a lot of fun in class.
