Stephanie Eve Parker

Stephanie Eve Parker is a professional dancer, singer, actress, choreographer, and educator currently living in New York City. Originally from Newport News, VA, she started dancing at a young age, and enjoyed a successful career of dancing competitively for 12 years. She moved to New York to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and the New School for Public Engagement to receive her BFA in Musical Theater and Psychology. Since graduating, she has been seen across the country in numerous regional theater productions, notably at Bucks County Playhouse, Westchester Broadway Theatre, Sharon Playhouse, and White Plains Performing Arts Center. Recent credits include White Christmas (Rhoda/Martha u/s) Something Rotten! (Ensemble/Portia u/s), Newsies (Hanna/Katherine u/s, Newsie), Mary Poppins, Songs for a New World (Woman 1), Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary Magdalene), Jekyll & Hyde, A Christmas Carol, and Guys and Dolls. She also has performed and developed shows in numerous theme parks, including Busch Gardens Williamsburg and California’s Great America. She was a featured dancer for the Miss America Organization, and was a televised tapper for NBC’s Red Nose Day 24 hour charity event featuring Nick Cannon. She has also tapped alongside some incredible tappers in her time, and was part of the tap company ACM Collective. Stephanie has also choreographed for Broadway in Bryant Park and the New York Fringe Festival. She is a dance faculty member at AMDA, and she choreographs for their workshops and graduation showcases. She currently continues to travel the country teaching master classes in the styles tap, theater dance, jazz, and ballet. Her latest achievement is training at the New York Studio for Irish Step Dance in hard and soft shoe. To be teaching at Steps on Broadway is a dream come true!
